First Friday Mass

Posted by joseph baladad on Friday, October 5, 2012, In : personal
I arrived early since I was the one assigned to read the First Reading and the Responsorial Psalm in the concluded First Friday Mass today in which our section was the sponsor. I was then informed not to read the Alleluia part.

Also, after the Flag Retreat, I was informed by my colleague to memorize three important items.

After work, I met my Love and her sister at Picare and I ordered Mochaccino. We then ate dinner at YellowCab.

I was also able to finish my Odesk task which I felt was long over...

Sing

Posted by joseph baladad on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, In : personal
I was almost late but was able to pass through even though the gate near the Cathedral was being closed by the guard already. I did not know it has a schedule for opening and closing although I did noticed a gate schedule when I pass through the first gate.

We were required to sing and practice for the First Friday mass and because our department is the sponsor, I did join in the practice.

At home, I checked my online chess and disappointed to see that I lost three games again due to time limit...

First Day

Posted by joseph baladad on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, In : personal
I was late on my first day in my job as computer operator. I had to ride a taxi with another passenger whom I do not know but still I arrived at 8:01 in the bundy clock already. I was also informed that my first salary will be delayed because of budget constraints.

Anyway, I was assigned at the budget team after I was enrolled in the biometrics by the HRM officer. Today, I realized that after working in several private companies and indirectly working in SSS as team leader, I have finally lear...

Today on my birthday, I am thankful to God for the year that was. For my Love whom I love. For my parent, siblings and relatives. For my soon-to-be in-laws.

Thanks God for the wonderful morning and weather in this place I have love.

Thank you for the lunch together with Love at Volante after attending the 1215 mass at the Our Lady of the Atonement Cathedral which was also my thanksgiving offer to God.

Thank you too that I was able to be inside the SLU premises again and wait for my Love after...

Posted by joseph baladad on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, In : personal
For Day 30, Love and I went to QCPO to picked up our backpay that includes our last salary and 13th month. We left around 3:30 AM and arrived almost 11:00 AM already. We were able to encashed our checks and also had lunch at ChicBoy which was a few steps away from Chinabank.

We had to return again at QCPO to picked up our 2012 ITR because it was not found earlier by the HR. Before we returned, Love had her last IPL at Body Essence. She also paid 300 pesos for additional IPL for her legs since...

First time to tracked my hourly job in Odesk. I was able to tracked one hour of work. I already submitted the first few entries for the client to check.

Also, we've met up with the dad of Love's best friend and gave a box of cake and cupcakes as birthday gift. Before this, I was able to put a clothesline on the ceiling of the bedroom. Also, after the meet-up, we also bought a new 24-watt lamp for the room. Now, it's brighter in the room than before, when I arrived here.

Later, we will be leavin...

Day 28 in Baguio

Posted by joseph baladad on Saturday, July 28, 2012, In : personal
I tried the 130 messages as part of the requirement in the transcription job I applied for. I started at around 9:30 AM or 9:45 AM and finished 92 messages at 1:15 PM, without lunch break. The only break I had was when I sent a text to Love. The remaining 38 messages, I finished from 1:25 PM until 3:00 PM. It was raining very hard when I went out of the building.

I was able to attend the anticipated mass, too.

"The poor is more generous than the rich" as emphasized by the priest.

We also had a ...

25th Day in Baguio

Posted by joseph baladad on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, In : personal
I was able to jogged and run longer again today, my 25th day in Baguio. It was a good thing that it did not rain when I was running. I was able to go to CJH, BCC and up to South Drive which was the last part of my route today. During my run, I was stopped suddenly by a guard in BCC which kept me wondering until I saw that there was a golfer who was shooting his ball. Then, I thought it was done already, so the other golfer got irritated on me and told me "you can be hit by the ball" (tamaan k...

Day 23 & Day 24 in Baguio

Posted by joseph baladad on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, In : personal
Last 22nd day, it was shrimps that we had for dinner. Last night, for the 23rd day, we had spaghetti for our dinner. It happened because Love and I were supposed to eat spaghetti when we were having our snack in front of Olympic Lanes and the lady at the counter told me that there microwave was not functioning so the spaghetti that I was suppose to order cannot be heated. So I decided not to order anymore even with the pancit. After that, Love craved for spaghetti too and we just decided to c...

Day 20 & 21 in Baguio

Posted by joseph baladad on Saturday, July 21, 2012, In : personal
We paid the Sun Broadband on Day 20 to avoid disconnection. We also strolled for a few minutes and even watched a hip-hop dance contest in SM Baguio. Strolled a little bit more and bro wsed some books in National which unfortunately have only a few selections of gardening books. One particular book, the title we have already forgotten, did caught our attention and it was about some Baguio memoirs and stories.

A friend of Love's youngest sister also came at night. There was also a very dubious...
