The wart that I am referring here is "kulugo" in Filipino. I have found many informative sites including forum sites and question-and-answer sites that provide personal views and different answers regarding the removal of warts.

According to what I have read in one site, there are different types of warts. These are:
1.    Verruca vulgaris or common hand warts - found in hands
2.    Verruca plantaris o foot warts - found in feet, might be painful
3.    Verruca plana o flat wart - small, flat, scattered in large quantity and can be found on the face, neck, abdomen, upper or lower back, legs, hands or knees
4.    Verruca acuminata o genital wart - one type of STD which can be caused by sexual contact and can be found on male or female genitals

Ways to remove warts:
1.    Using corn, wart or callus band-aid which cost 79 pesos in Watson's
2.    Using duct tape
3.    Using aloe vera
4.    Using apple cider vinegar
5.    Using salicylic acid, duofilm available in Mercury Drug
6.    Using cryosurgery
7.    Using laser treatment
8.    Using electrocautery
